Say Love Events - Rental Agreement

  1. These terms and conditions are a legal contractual agreement between you, the "Rentee" and Say Love Events, the "Renter", establishing terms and conditions under which we rent items using this website, www.SayLoveEvents.com.
  2. The Rentee agrees to rent items from Renter and to pay the Security/Damage Deposit, Rental Fee, Taxes, and any potential Late Fees and/or Damage Costs specified within this agreement. "Rentee" agrees to the terms and conditions of this Rental Agreement when completing their reservation and paying the Security/Damage Deposit.
  3. Security/Damage Deposit – The Rentee will pay a Security/Damage Deposit when completing the online rental reservation ($50 minimum deposit for orders up to $250, $100 for orders up to $500, $150 for orders up to $750, and $200 for orders over $750). Online payment must be made using a credit card through a secure PayPal system. The deposit will be fully refunded upon return of the rented items after the event, or if one of the parties cancels at least five days prior to the event. The deposit will be patially or not refunded if rented items are lost, damaged, withheld, or similar circumstances where Renter does not receive back rented items, as more fully explained under the "Damage to Property" Section.
  4. Rental Fee – The rental fee is paid upon Renter delivery of rented items to the Rentee. The rental fee for each item rented is listed on the website. There is a minimum rental amount of $50. The rental fee is due in full at the time of delivery. The rental fee is not refundable after delivery.
  5. Unavailability – If the items rented become unavailable, the Renter will make every effort to replace them with similar items. Obviously, if this is not possible, the Renter will contact the Rentee to determine another course of action. The Rentee will not be charged for any rented items that the Renter is unable to deliver.
  6. Late Fees – If the Rentee does not return the rented items to the Renter at the designated Pick Up time and location a late fee will be imposed on the Rentee using the same credit card number that the Rentee used to make the initial online reservation. This fee will be 50% of the Rental Fee if the rented items are not returned within five days after the event date, and 100% of the Rental Fee if not returned within 10 days after the event date. After 10 days of not returning the rented items, the Rentee will be charged for the unreturned items, as more fully explained under the "Damage to Property" Section.
  7. Damage to PropertyRentee agrees that each rented item has a fair-market value replacement cost. Rentee also agrees that while rented items are in their possession, all risks of the items being lost, stolen, or damaged is theirs. Rentee agrees that rented items not returned to Renter within 10 days after the event date and/or returned in a unusable, damaged condition (except for normal wear and tear) are to be charged to Rentee at the fair-market value replacement cost, as determined by Renter.
  8. InjuryRentee agrees to set up and use products in a manner that will not harm others. Most products are harmless. Backdrops could tip over if not secured properly or if unequal weight is added to the top. Rentee assumes all responsibility of using products safely while in their possession.
  9. DeliveryRentee will pick up their order from the Renter at the location and on the date and at the time indicated while making their reservation on the website. If a change of location, date, or time needs to be made, the Rentee must contact the Renter using the contact method listed on the reservation confirmation page at least 4 hours before the designated Pick Up. Failure to meet at the designated Pick Up will justify foriture of Rentee's Security/Damage Depost.
  10. ReturnRentee will return their order to the Renter at the same location where the items were delivered and at an agreed-upon date and time between both parties when items are delivered. If a change of location, date, or time needs to be made, the Rentee must contact the Renter using the contact information listed on the reservation confirmation page at least 4 hours before the designated Pick Up time. Failure to meet at the designated Pick Up time will justify foriture of Rentee's Security/Damage Depost.
  11. Sales TaxesRentee agrees to pay all applicable taxes imposed on Renter in connection with rental costs of the rented items. The taxes will be listed on the reservation confirmation page. All applicable taxes are due at the time of delivery.
